INTRODUCTION - FEATURES - OVERALL - DOWNLOADS
Introduction:
Paladins: Champions of the Realm is a free to play first person shooter title published by Hi-Rez Studios. It is on Windows, Mac and multiple consoles, a founder’s edition beta on the Nintendo Switch
Features:
1. Classes - Classes in this game are known as Champions. Almost every champion must be paid for, except a few starters. There is a free cycle of champions where you can play with some you don’t own too, which is really cool. Most characters are extremely unique and creative 9/10
2. Weapons - Each weapon is bound to the character, so there is no mixing and matching available, which for a game like Paladins, makes a lot of sense. 8/10
3. Cosmetics - Each character has different cosmetic styles that can be purchases. The weapon, character and other points can be changed with money. 7/10
4. Engine - Paladins: Champions of the Realm runs on the Unreal Engine. It has awesome graphics and runs wells on low-end PCs. 8/10
5. Matchmaking - Matchmaking’s great but don’t forget that until level 5, you can only battle against bots. 8/10
Overall:
This is an amazing game published by Hi-Rez Studios. It shakes up the FPS genre with multiple creative and unique alterations to the usual formula. I have sunk at least 100 hours into this game and I am still having fun like I did at hour 1. Overall, this game merits a final ranking of 8/10
